Mark’s “Rant” for the month…..

I recently spent some time on Canoe Lake in Algonquin Park, reliving a wonderful period of my life from back in the 1960’s as a camper and staff member at Camp Ahmek, where I visited the historic but little known haunts of Tom Thomson. Well, it’s been 100 years since this great Canadian icon & artist died under mysterious circumstances on Canoe Lake in Algonquin Park July 8th, 1917 and hardly no one really knows who he was!
